Accountants and Bookkeepers - New York, NY &
Yonkers, NY
We currently have openings for qualified accountants and bookkeepers to join
our
small but growing staff in providing accounting assistance to businesses in
New York, Westchester, and surrounding areas. Duties of the team include
accounting, bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll, and tax
returns. The team will provide accurate client service a
timely manner and develop beneficial relationships with clients.
Successful candidates must be able to travel locally and will make frequent
visits to client offices to perform onsite accounting/bookkeeping services.
The roles provide opportunities to work with large and small companies
across many industries.
Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a small office
environment and juggling diverse projects and responsibilities.
Required:
Accounting degree
3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Preferred:
Tax return preparation experience
Experience with Peachtree, AccPac, Solomon, Great Plains
Exposure to SEC reporting (10K, 10Q, etc.)
